Robert A. Alagskomah - Member

A development practitioner with thirty (30) years’ experience in the development arena, Alagskomah holds a Diploma in Cooperative Management from Ghana Cooperative College, a graduate of the University of Ghana-Legon with BA Social Work (BSW) & Minor of Sociology and an MPhil Development Studies from the University of Development Studies.

Alagskomah has extensive experience in development practice starting as a Cooperative Officer – Department of Cooperatives and later Project Coordinator with the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), then National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI).

He later on became the Project Coordinator and Head of Programmes for Youth Alive and Centre for Sustainable Development Initiatives (CENSUDI) respectively focusing solely on gender and child advocacy.

He had a stint with Northfin Foundation, a microfinance NGO as the Director and moved on to become the Project Coordinator for Savannah Accelerated Development Authority – Millennium Villages Project (SADA-MVP) in charge of forming farmer based organizations and developing them into farmer cooperatives as well as overseeing the activities of Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) in the project areas.

Alagskomah is currently the Regional Coordinator of the Northern Development Authority-NDA formerly Savannah Accelerated Development Authority-SADA.
